Scully and Angel...two characters on the tv private eye show The Rockford Files, starring James Garner. I think I remember the episode but cannot verify the character "Scully"...it makes sense that he existed though, because the writer producer of The Rockford Files, Stephen J. Cannell, later wrote a novel entitled, "Cold Hit: A Shane Scully Novel", about a LAPD homicide sleuth by the name of Scully.
