Nancy, the audio quality of the Mountain Winery boot is excellent, one of the best.

Though still an audience recording, the taper was using good equipment, and knew what they were doing.

We only had about 170 separate donations on the birthday drive, and some donated more than once - so the number of individuals is probably in the high 150's. I'm not participating in that thread, it's just not a good idea.

You can coax your new thread by replying to it. Redwinelover saw a comment I'd posted about my new thread not showing up. She went to my profile page and replied to it and it then showed up on the discussion board.
What I meant by "virtual purgatory" is that your new post is just sittng there on your profile page, which is not where you intended it to go.
You'll need to reply to your own new thread, on your profile page, to get it to show on the discussion board.
I hope that's a temporary thing. It's really odd.
If you'll notice, there are no new threads on the Discussion Board with no comments.

Ha! You did send yourself a message. I can't figure out why some of my "friends" don't show up on my page, and some do, who I don't recall doing a two-way with.
