Amazing Sheryl Crow

Tattoos are where she was "marked" for the radiation to treat the breast cancer. Usually get marked in about 3 places. They are tiny so you have to know where they are to see them even on your own body.... more

SC and JT @ Tanglewood SAT night

I saw JT a few years ago in Camden. I hadn't been to see him for about 20 years. He put on a terrific show but the thing that amazed me was that after each song they allowed women (mostly in their 40's and 50's) to go up and give him flowers and a hug between songs. It was strange but all these women came prepared so I figured they must do this a lot at his shows. I was pissed I hadn't brought some. Did they do this?... more

Yikes, I just went back to Orbitz to re-check the name and the hotel has gone up to $438 a night on Orbitz! Then I went to Kayak.com and same hotel, Sheraton on Race, is $190. Go on Kayak and do art museum as you location and a bunch of hotel pop up. You, just want to be near the art museum or as close to Ben Franklin Parkway as possible. Rittenhouse Square, where the Four Seasons is, is the nicest area to stay in but those hotels are expensive. Don't do the Fairmont Park side of the museum, stay toward ...... more

Robert, neither Cherry Hill or Mt Laurel have a speed line so you would be stuck driving across the bridge after the show. I would l would love to be able to offer my house but my kids leave for overnight camp at 5AM on the 5th so my house is going to be chaos. The way Im reading this is the concert isn't in Penns Landing but at the art museum which is about 2 miles from Penns Landing. They shoot the fireworks at Penns Landing. Nancy, the audio quality of the Mountain Winery boot is excellent, one of the best.

Though still an audience recording, the taper was using good equipment, and knew what they were doing.

We only had about 170 separate donations on the birthday drive, and some donated more than once - so the number of individuals is probably in the high 150's. I'm not participating in that thread, it's just not a good idea.

Hi Nancy,
You can coax your new thread by replying to it. Redwinelover saw a comment I'd posted about my new thread not showing up. She went to my profile page and replied to it and it then showed up on the discussion board.
What I meant by "virtual purgatory" is that your new post is just sittng there on your profile page, which is not where you intended it to go.
You'll need to reply to your own new thread, on your profile page, to get it to show on the discussion board.
I hope that's a temporary thing. It's really odd.
If you'll notice, there are no new threads on the Discussion Board with no comments.
